Rodney Sullivan, CFA

     Rodney Sullivan is head of publications and editor of the Financial Analysts Journal at CFA Institute.  As such, he is chiefly responsible for the editorial and strategic direction for a suite of publication services directed towards investment professionals.  He has also served as editor on several books for investment professionals and has written articles published in various scholarly journals, magazines and newspapers.  Previously, Mr. Sullivan, filled a key leadership role as director of research in the Investment Division of Trigon Healthcare, Inc. (now Anthem Healthcare, Inc.), and as a senior portfolio analyst for Aris Corporation.

     Mr. Sullivan is an alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University, holding both a BS and an MA in economics, and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University and Randolph Macon College. He is a member of the Chicago Quantitative Alliance and a past president of the Richmond Association of Business Economics.
