     James Schmidt offers his clients a distinctive blend of professional investment counsel and personal service. He carefully evaluates his clients’ investment goals before recommending an investment strategy specifically tailored to their financial needs.

     James specializes in investment ownership strategies, asset allocation strategies, alternative investments and fiduciary responsibilities for endowments and foundations. He began his financial services career in 1984 as a Financial Advisor with E.F. Hutton & Company and joined Prudential Securities, a predecessor firm of Wachovia Securities, as a Vice President in 1989.

     James earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education from SUNY New Paltz and has served as a court-appointed special advocate in the Henrico County Juvenile Court since 2002. As a Certified PIM Portfolio Manager, James is entrusted by Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC with discretionary authority to manage client portfolios. Private Investment Management (PIM) is designed especially for successful individuals who demand a high level of personal attention and knowledge.
